More Eurocratic Bollocks: Rerun the Referendum & Vote Again

At this point in time, no one seems to know anything about anything concerning Britain leaving the European Union.
There are still some lost souls who are telling us that there should be a second referendum on this dead subject. They are under the impression that the old EU rules are still in place regarding “democratic” elections.
These “unofficial” rules were, if a vote in a member country goes against the thinking of the EU, then this vote will be rerun until the “correct” result is achieved. The very idea of the EU being wrong in any way, would not be tolerated.
The fact that those in charge of the huge, lumbering, creaking edifice espoused democracy for any wee country they and their partners chose seemingly at random, didn’t matter. Their version of democracy and what they wanted others to follow were two completely different things.
The mark of dictatorship is making the population bend to the will of the few. The culture of greed and the love of absolute power, makes it imperative. No resistance will be tolerated and will be stamped on immediately. This is more or less exactly what the EU has been doing for many years.
The fact that Britain voted to leave, was such a shock to the system of the EU, they and their allies were left dumbfounded. The first response was the usual knee jerk reaction to have another vote as soon as possible, to make the nightmare vanish as if it had never happened.
The rage of some commentators was quite astonishing. Blaming the result on ill-informed and generally stupid people who didn’t understand what they were doing.
The reality of what happened was people from all walks of life felt that the EU was becoming a dictatorship and actually a hindrance to progress. Their self-serving rules and laws made many undeserving people huge amounts of money without having to do much more than fill in a form or two.
Those at the top of the EU didn’t and still don’t care what happened to the likes of Greece or Portugal. They watched as populations were reduced to living in conditions which were like taking a huge step into the past. The barter system became the norm rather than the exception.
The EU elite accepted Greece into its spider’s web of corruption and greed, but turned its back on them, knowing full well they should never have been allowed into the EU in the first place.
These men and women who decided that a basket case economy like the Greek one, was on a par with the likes of Germany, should have been prosecuted for dereliction of duty and defrauding an entire country’s population!
Is it any wonder Britain didn’t have any intention of ever using the Euro as its currency? This was a disaster waiting to happen. And just for once, it didn’t happen to Britain.
Back at the so called Brexit referendum, there was and still is a profound feeling among some people that this is some kind of situation where given time, it will all go back to where we were before.
Well that’s not going to happen. Please get used to the situation, for it is your new reality.
It can’t be wished away, anymore than a football fan would wish for a match to be replayed because their team lost an important game.
Not that it will make a blind bit of difference to the lives of the vast majority of the population here. We will still need people from other countries to come and do jobs which are beneath the dignity of the British “working” class.
There will always be trade with the rest of the world. There was before the EU and it is still there despite the doom- monger’s warnings of some kind of apocalyptic disaster occurring.
Although the EU referendum was some time ago, there are still people who imagine it’s still possible to have the whole thing rerun. The leader of the Green party has recently said in a speech to her wide eyed and woolly supporters, that she still thinks that there will be a second referendum! That’s just ridiculous and is pandering to her core vote and any gullible bystanders.
Oh, let’s vote Green and get a chance to stay in the EU!
I think this might be a Labour party policy as well, but as Jeremy Corbyn is still sitting on the floor of a train somewhere in the north of England, it may be some time before he gets back to London.
Nothing much is going to change for the average British person. The country will continue to be run badly by a variety of unhinged megalomaniacs, making sure they are prepared for a well paid job or two when they retire. While people who have worked fifty years struggle to pay for basic essentials!
No wonder there is so much disquiet in this country and worldwide. The vast wealth of the minority and this massive gap to the rest of the population, scrambling around trying to make ends meet!
Things have to change before it’s too late!
