Human Existence: Is this just a game?
MICHAEL J BLAIR

Could our existence be something other than our general perception?
What if everything we see is false, and part of a game?
The more I see and hear from the inhabitants of this planet, the more I think someone or something is observing the going’s on and betting on the outcome.
Does this sound a bit strange? I definitely think it’s strange, bordering on madness. But I think this has happened before and will happen again.
As I’m sure you have noticed, human beings do not learn from history. This is fundamental to making progress on all levels.
Human beings have a propensity to destroy the beautiful and worship the ugly.
Cut down the natural habitat for many plants and animals, but wallow in the glory of the money this wanton destruction has causes.
I know I’m not the only one who looks at our planet and wonders why money is more important and valuable than a rainforest or just a tiny animal.
I’m not the only one who sees war for what it is….. A huge opportunity for a minority of very wealthy people to make themselves even richer.
I now realise that history will keep repeating, because none of these greedy individuals can see past the next big money deal. They either don’t understand the idea of sustainability, or they do, but don’t give a shit about the eventual outcome, because they will probably be dead by the time the resources have run out, and the land cannot sustain plant growth.
The game which I mentioned is simple. Give a planet, Earth in this case, the means to evolve from swamp to civilisation and see how long it is before the humans will take to learn from history, and step back from the brink.
I don’t know how many times this has happened. Remember, two million years is nothing in the scheme of the universe, so this game could have been played many times.
At some point, you would think enough people would point this out to the “leaders” of greed. But so far, this hasn’t happened.
Maybe this will be the last time the game will be played. It must get very boring watching the same mistakes being made every time.
The same result, regardless of the new information carefully put in front of us, would get very wearing.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever is in charge of the game, just said:
“Enough is enough. They can’t learn from history and experience, so now is the time to let them destroy themselves and there will be no going back this time. It’s over!”
I would like to believe there are enough enlightened people on the planet now, who can stop what seems inevitable to the game’s masters.
We are many and we have the power to change the outcome.
Defeat the elite and allow the Earth to heal. There is enough land to grow food for all. There are no excuses for poverty and homelessness, despite the weasel words of the outgoing political classes.
Medicines being kept so expensive, many people die from diseases which are easy to cure. This type of behavior is part of the reason why nothing is learned from history.
New technology which can transform lives, being kept for some but not for the benefit of the majority.
The naked greed of the few, who believe they should have it all, and screw the rest of the people.
Now is the time to show those who are now prepared to leave us to the fate decided by the few, that we have been listening to and learning from history, and will not bow down and accept the death of our planet.
Wake up, fight and resist. We can make a better world, to leave for future generations.
