Dear Dirty America

The boys over at Infowars are calling Tea Party hero Ted Cruz a New World Order shill. Here’s the second most important part of this story:

Cruz’s insider connection is a family affair. His wife, Heidi, is a Goldman Sachs vice president in Houston, Texas, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also served as an economic advisor for the Bush administration. In 2011, a Cruz campaign spokesman portrayed Heidi as “an expert on North American trade,” in other words she is savvy when it comes to globalist transnational trade deals like NAFTA, the single most destructive government move against the American worker in history.

Personally, I admire anybody who gives President Obama hell. After his first term of denying drone strikes that kill both suspected combatants and civilians overseas, which constitute as war crimes, I completely split myself from him and his policies.

Then there is the Benghazi scandal, the constant appointments of Goldman Sachs and heavy Wall Street favorites to his administration, as well as the renewal of the Patriot Act, the NDAA bill allowing indefinite detention of American citizens, and then there was the blatant lying about the NSA, the war on whistleblowers and journalists, the troop surge in Afghanistan, the constant gloating over how many bad guys he’s killed and will kill, the rapid lunge to strike Syria, and on and on.

I’m no Libertarian, but something else bothered me about Ted Cruz. Not just his “let’s gut the government and let Big Business completely take over” attitude. His appearance is off putting. Like a man who has suffered from years of unsatisfying, agitated sleep cycles and a lack of vitamins, minerals, and fiber, Ted Cruz has been left with an elf’s face and an 8 dollar haircut he slicks back with pomade from tin cans that look like they’ve been dug out of Cold War bomb shelters.

And, if you thought he really wasn’t promoting cutthroat multinational corporations, and you were deceived into thinking Cruz stood for the little man, for the family man, and for the small business owner, as well as freedom and liberty for all, you should know his wife is vice president of one of the most destructive financial conglomerates in the world. She, at that level, is directly responsible for the extraction of billions of dollars from hard working Americans through enormous government bailouts and knowingly peddling toxic subprime mortgages, as well as manipulating the world’s food and energy markets for more extravagant gain, while people around the world suffer from the resulting rising food prices.

Yet, the way it’s shaping up, her husband Ted is poised to be the right-wing resistance to eight years of President Obama, who by himself is right-wing enough, considering he raised more money from Wall Street in 2008 than any other candidate in history.

The most important part about the Infowars news story is how easily we were manipulated into accept Barack Obama, and how easily we might again be deceived into this:

The establishment specializes in the old fashion bait-and-switch. It knows the people are sick and tired of government as usual and they want change. Obama was billed as Mr. Hope and Change. But once installed in the White House, he immediately continued and expanded the Bush agenda, that is to say the agenda of the political establishment. Barry, like his predecessor, is little more than a frontispiece, a teleprompter reader for the elite.

Now that we’re fed up with Obama, it is time for the next round of phony change. That change will likely be represented by reformulated Tea Party Republicans Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.

From reading a teleprompter to the elite, we’ll see a push for a Ted Cruz 2016 run, and this guy is actually in bed (I’m assuming) with the same elite who deliberately burned down our economic system, bet against it, was still bailed out by the American taxpayer, and then resumed business as usual while wage growth for 99 percent of workers has remained stagnant or in decline.

And that’s if you can find a job.
