Dear Dirty America

In the following video, Michele Bachmann claims that the essence of Occupy Wall Street it to have other people pay for their stuff. As astute an observation as that is about a movement that has brought to the forefront of the mainstream media the idea of getting dirty Wall Street cash out of politics, ending the corrupt Federal Reserve, and ending multiple wars and unlawful predator drone campaigns, it is also glaringly hypocritical of Bachmann.

Hypocritical in the sense that Bachmann’s family farm has received over $250,000 in government subsidies, according to this report this summer. That money doesn’t just drop out of nowhere, but is pooled together by American taxpayers. It’s kind of like, you know, getting your stuff paid for by other people, to the tune of a quarter million dollars.
