No More Muslims in US, Trump Says, but Forgets About Yankee Jihad
Real Clear Politics provides us with the following excerpt from Donald J Trump’s speech about not letting Muslims into the United States anymore..at least while we’re at war. I sent this off to my friend, the exiled cultural philosopher Hubert Humdinger in case he hadn’t seen it.

TRUMP: We put out a statement today. It’s impossible to watch this gross incompetence that I watched last night. And we put out a statement a little while ago and these people (the media) went crazy… Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on![APPLAUSE]
We have no choice. We have no choice. We have no choice. According to Pew Research, among others, there is a great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from Center for Secure Policy released data showing that 25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans, some of those are people that are here, not 1% — by the way, 1% will be unacceptable, 1% is unacceptable, 25% of those polled agree that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as part of the global jihad.
Humdinger called me up as soon as I sent it to him. He was foaming at the mouth and his eyes looked like squashed tomatoes.
“Global jihad waged by Muslims?” he shouted and wiped his eyes. He’d been laughing to beat the band, it seemed.
“Who does this monkey think he is, and why does he get to rewrite history? If there’s any global feelings of resistance toward the United States and NATO, it’s because of the four hundred years of Yankee jihad both domestic and abroad that’s riled up everybody since then until now. At least true Islamic jihad has very specific rules.”
