Of Course Re-Nig 2012 Is Racist: Hate Obama for Real Reasons, Not Because He’s Black

Paula Smith, the creator of the bumper sticker gone viral, will tell you a ‘nigger’ is a “low down, sorry, low down person”, but it certainly isn’t racist. “The n-word,” Smith told Forbes, “does not mean black.” And, Smith reminds us, President Obama is not even fully black, but a mixture of race.

But Paula Smith is full of shit. Of course her bumper sticker, which she sells on her sticker website, is a racial epithet. ‘Nigger’ is one of the worst words in the English language, and I can’t think of a word more charged with historical hatred and brutality.

I say (and I’m no expert) that if you want to hate Barack Obama, hate him for real reasons and policy decisions his administration has made, and let it have nothing to do with his race or culture.

There are multiple reasons you should be seething over Pres Obama’s administration, and there are just as many examples that should have you scared for your country and your civil liberties. Such as:

The most egregious offense our Republic has suffered might be the recently renewed NDAA bill, which gives the US government the power to indefinitely detain any American citizen, without due process. That basic freedom is the base of our Constitution, and our dear president signed that away.

Predator drone program. Under Pres Obama, killer drones have been zipping across the skies of Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, and also the US. Our government is spending almost $700 billion on unleashing 30,000 drones to monitor American skies, and will be armed with non-lethal police weapons. Sound like a free country, or something out of a Philip K Dick novel?

Instead of following through with his 2008 campaign promises, Mr Obama has instead pushed to punish whistle blowers who expose corruption within private and public organizations. The current White House has used the Espionage Act of 1917 six times so far. The Act has only been used three other times throughout history, with all administrations combined.

Take John Kiriakou, accused of leaking secrets to journalists about other CIA members. David Carr from the NYT writes, “For those of you keeping score, none of the individuals who engaged in or authorized the waterboarding of terror suspects have been prosecuted, but Mr. Kiriakou is in federal cross hairs, accused of talking to journalists and news organizations…”.

Speaking of waterboarding, Mr Obama squashed any hopes of investigating and prosecuting the Bush administration for their role in launching a fraudulent war, and for authorizing the torture of detainees in black prison sites. Torture is banned by the Geneva Convention. Obama the candidate harshly criticized the Bush administration, but when he got into office, his mantra was that we’re looking forward, not backward. That unfortunately meant business as usual in the White House.

Under the Obama administration, three American citizens (that we know of) have been targeted and murdered by the US military, without their right to due process. These Americans, and others, are on the president’s “to kill” list. It’s a real list, and Obama is knocking off US citizens — such as Anwar al-Awlaki, his sixteen year old son, and Samir Khan — almost as easily as he shoots hoops over Thanksgiving.

Another reason to hate President Obama, and that has nothing to do with his skin color, is his role in keeping Yemeni journalist Abdulelah Haider Shaye in prison. Shaye is the journalist who exposed Obama’s authorized air strike on al Majala, an attack that killed fourteen women and twenty-one children (and that’s yet another reason to hate your president as much as you hated the last one).

Shaye took pictures of the fragments of Tomahawk missiles and cluster bombs, and their labels that said, “Made in America”, and blew apart the fake official story released by the Pentagon (they said Yemen’s air force had done the dirty work, and that many insurgents had been killed). Shaye, by simply reporting the truth, threw a lot of stinky mud into the faces of powerful men in the West.

Yemen’s president was going to pardon Shaye because he really hadn’t committed any crimes, but Pres Obama called and suggested Shaye stay in prison, just in case he had ties to the Arabian Peninsula Al Qaeda.

At this point, I would like to stop this list, but then I’d be only documenting half of the corruption. So, let’s continue with the frightening things Mr Obama has done.

He let insurance companies write his healthcare plan — what people like Paula Smith probably refer to as Obamacare. Obamacare is truly missing the point of assisting Americans with their health insurance. The bill makes it mandatory for every citizen to take out a health care plan. Instead of the government offering a single-payer plan, which would have really helped the populace get cheaper insurance, the bill only mandates that every person must get some form of health insurance by 2014.

The government may assist those who can’t fully afford their plans, but that only amounts to the insurance companies cashing in more ways than before.

Obama has also received more money from Wall Street than any other candidate. Mitt Romney is challenging those numbers as of late, but any notion of Barack Obama being the people’s candidate will not hold water after seeing how propped up he is by Wall Street cash.

What about Bradley Manning? One of the most controversial alleged whistle blowers in United States history. Manning is accused of giving classified information to WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange. Manning was held in solitary confinement for over a year. He was kept in his cell for 23 hours a day, and stripped down to his underwear at night. His exercise for one hour a day was walking figure eights in a small room.

President Obama said very little about Manning’s treatment. “He broke the law,” was one phrase. The president was largely unmoved by Manning’s torture. The United Nations began investigating Manning’s treatment, but then the young man was moved to a medium-security prison in Kansas.

Last week, President Obama passed a bill that would make protesting at or around a political rally a felony. Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech…and so on. Scary stuff, for a supposedly liberal president.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for reasons to hate President Obama, do some research, find out what you don’t like about his policies, and start hating there, but for your sake, and for the sanity of this nation, leave his race and skin color out of it.
