When Mitt Romney’s Your Choice Cut of Beef

NBC has ordered the Mitt Romney campaign to remove an ad showing Tom Brokaw from 1997 preaching about Newt Gingrich’s ethics hypocrisy. Tom Brokaw says, “I am extremely uncomfortable with the extended use of my personal image in this political ad,” he said. “I do not want my role as a journalist compromised for political gain by any campaign.”

And I’m extremely uncomfortable with the fact that so many Americans are willing to vote for a weasel of a man who makes $42.5 million in 2010 and ’11 (while we’re in a recession, for God’s sake), sends an untold number of good American jobs overseas to China, and speculates on commodities and other people’s debt to make his fortune. Again and again.

The median annual American income is 26,000, when rounded to the nearest thousand. Mitt Romney wipes his ass with that kind of money. You think he’s going to represent you if he becomes President Romney?

It’s not like Romney’s got a real message. He only systematically dodges questions by trying to slickly appear that he knows what he’s talking about, and that’s he tough on any issue that’s being raised.

At his best, Romney is a puppet for his special interest friends and investment banker colleagues. He’s an American traitor, and he should get a traitor’s treatment. Not hundreds of thousands of votes to run against another fiend, Barack Obama.

Either way, the establishment wins.
