until someone perturbs the water. Is language what humans happen to be immersed in, and it is through perturbation of language that we consciously expand and reach higher levels of existence? One of my favorite philosophers and modern day Western shamans, Terence McKenna, thinks language is reality.Not quarks, or electromagnetic waves, or God. But language, which happens to be the common denominator to all of those theories. The answers to life’s most daunting and persistent questions have many speculative answers, but it is with language that this speculation can occur.
