and I think he’s right. Be careful before you dishonor a poet, and that goes for the inflated, debauched sense of the word ‘poet’ also. Like that deadbeat man who plays a guitar with only one string while sitting on Venice Beach’s famous boardwalk.He’s a poet too. Don’t disgrace him, you Suitor!

Says Odysseus:

All men owe honor to the poets–honor and awe, for they are dearest to the Muse who puts upon their lips the ways of life.

George W. Bush is not a poet. Dishonor him as much as you dare.
