A reader emailed me an exuberant one-liner in response to the blog post Ron Paul the Antichrist? The sentence:
Alex Jones for president!
I think that’s a fair call. Alex Jones for president. I assume the email-er means in 2012. Alex Jones is the famous (sometimes reviled) radio show host, bullhorn activist, and documentary film maker who believes 9/11 was in ‘inside job’ and that the world’s Elites are conspiring to bring down America by waging war on the dollar. And much, much more.
He might be right, but his ideas will never be accepted by the majority of American citizens. If Alex Jones did become president of the United States of America, he’d be kicking Federal Reserve ass, killing programs like the EPA, and squashing any and all of the world’s Elites with his big Texan fists.
He would address the nation with a bullhorn. He would run the free world from his Infowars bunker.
