The hero
sets off
on a
quest for
something high
& boon-
granting &
halfway into
the journey
meets up
with a
monster that
he vanquishes
with the
help of
a spirit
that pops
up out
of nowhere
& after
his journey
is complete
he returns
to his
people steeped
in wisdom.
What’s never
mentioned is
that nine
times out
of ten they
crucify him.
