When logic is no longer needed, and common sense is just a wisp of smoke disappearing through a slightly open window, this is pretty much the point where you say, enough already!

This is the effect that the last few months have had upon our collective minds. Boggled is too tame a word to describe what has assaulted our senses since Donald Trump decided to run for presidenct of the USA.

In the beginning, we were amused by the deliberately skewed view he took on matters political. But we looked on with increasing disbelief as the campaign unfolded and turned truth into something resembling a low budget horror movie.

The Trump truth is a strange beast. It has nothing to do with actual truth. This version is available only from the inner recesses of a mind so used to getting its own way, it cannot comprehend being challenged. Alternative truth perhaps?

Any kind of morality has long been told to leave, and never show its face again.

If he feels his “authority” is in any way being questioned, there has to be an instant, damning response.

He knows he is always right. He has no other position on which to fall back.

Tweeting unpleasant and untrue comments against his sometime imaginary enemies, he shows the emotional intelligence of a three year old tantrum thrower.

He rants because rationality has no place in his head. He has no idea how to discuss or argue. There is only one way, and that is his way.

Unfortunately his pathetic cabinet and sycophantic inner circle agree with all he says and publicly back up his quite insane ramblings.

His collection of liars and crooks will happily parrot his bullshit with a sincerity practiced for years in boardrooms around the world.

If cornered by the evil logic, he immediately lies and attacks someone, anyone, to deflect any possibility of him having to face any reality except his own.

As the most powerful politician on the planet, he should have grace and honour at the forefront of everything he does. He represents over three hundred million people, but behaves like some kind of tinpot dictator.

From a distance, this makes the whole country look as if it wants to hide its face at the shame of being led by a man with the manners of a bar room bully. And the demeanour of an orang-utan with haemorrhoids.

He really should wear a t-shirt with the message, “I don’t understand logic” emblazoned across the front.

The worst part of this is….wait, it’s all worst. What I’m trying to say, is the lying really the thing which really “crowns the cuddy!”

We can all accept politicians being economical with the truth. It isn’t good, but we can see reasons.

In Trump’s case, the main reason for lying constantly is revenge, plus a splash of logic dodging.

This is the kind of behaviour associated with children. Fingers in the ears and singing, “la la la la la, I can’t hear you!”

Or “I didn’t do it. A big boy did it and ran away!”

We, the rest of the world, should not have to watch the USA wriggle with embarrassment at the antics of their president, acting like a seven year old, going on three!

I think some people imagined Trump would somehow change into a statesman like figure once he had attained high office, but as we can now see, he has become more of a liability than before.

Not an easy task, but Donald Trump has proved to be very adept at becoming worse with experience rather than better.

Whatever goes on inside the head of the current President of the United States of America, it isn’t very pleasant.

Revenge is high on his agenda, along with pettiness and a liberal dash of spite thrown in for good measure.

But it is the utterly deplorable and deliberate lying which is the worst aspect of this Presidency of shame.

How can a single citizen of this crumbling planet have any respect for a man who doesn’t understand the difference between truth and lies?

In what way can other world leaders take anything he spews out, seriously?

How can anyone take this certifiable bouffant buffoon seriously?

Even his most rabid supporters are almost nearly beginning to think they just might have voted for a cartoon character with homicidal tendencies and the mind of a small angry child.

At the moment, it looks like his lying chickens are coming home to roost, so there may be some hope after all, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
