The Dumbed Down Reality of Trump

Is this the biggest and worst reality show ever?
There is something completely unreal about Donald Trump becoming President of the United States. It is like something which could only happen in a really low budget movie.
The wooden acting of the leading players. The totally over the top script. The bad wigs and the worst make-up I’ve ever seen. This scenario could not have been written by seven thousand chimps in a room for a year, with unlimited internet access.
It is a farcical situation. How in the name of all that’s holy, could this thin-skinned, self-important, bouffant buffoon, ever come to be elected to be the most important job in world politics? Most people I know are still shaking their heads at this most surreal of events.
It really is baffling!
He was occasionally mentioned as a possible runner, but in jest, not seriously. But someone somewhere took him seriously, and that is worth worrying about.
Why would anyone want a total imbecile in charge of the world’s largest economy? Why would anyone want him to be in charge of a huge range of nuclear weapons and a massive army, air force, and navy? Why would anyone want access to the largest exporter of arms to the majority of the world’s countries, which handily are at war almost all the time?
Anyone seeing a pattern emerging here?
Could money be behind this ridiculous charade? Well, it usually is the case.
What better than to have a bellicose self absorbed sociopath, occupying the Oval Office. Easily manipulated by flattery, he is putty in the hands of the unscrupulous money men. People like Trump only want to talk about themselves. They have no interest in anything or anyone else. It’s all about them. Flatter them and they will purr like a happy hippopotamus.
He will imagine he is making decisions, but he will be only be saying what is good for his controllers. Every time he gets a difficult question, his reaction is programmed to go to, “Who’s paying for the Mexican border wall? Mexico is!” Or, “I’m deporting millions of illegal immigrants!”
He has no answers because he cannot formulate any of his own. He only has standby positions, which are said, to keep his most rabid and stupid supporters happy!
If he actually managed to deport millions of people, then some of his own bone idle support would have to do the shit jobs these people are doing. This wouldn’t go down very well with the majority of the great unwashed who somehow voted him to the verge of power.
I know health care is a big issue in America, and I don’t know what the poor and the near extinct middle classes are going to do about being seriously ill. I know someone in the USA who has multiple health problems, and has virtually no access to a doctor or dentist. At the moment she has an untreated abscess in her gum, which is now infected, plus several other serious long-term illnesses.
If this is the state of American health care under a Democratic president, God help the rest of you when the great blowhard assumes control?
The USA has one of the worst health services in the development world. It’s almost third world unless you have a lot of money or a job with health care benefits. Quite appalling!
But I digress. Back at Trump Towers there is panic when no one will star and play at the presidential inauguration. Strangely enough, no sane singer or musician is going to commit career suicide by appearing at the crowning of this ridiculous, pompous, pampered clown. I expect some third rate wannabe or has-been will answer the call, and say how they always loved “President Trump.”
His reaction to the comments made by Meryl Streep at the Golden Globe event show just how this man should never have been elected to the Presidency. He sounded like a playground bully, lashing out because someone said something about him which he didn’t like. If it wasn’t so serious, it would be laughable!
I really don’t think he understands what is expected of a President of a country. He has no idea of protocol or the workings of government. He seems to think he is there to order people to do what he says. To him, this is just an extension of his role in The Apprentice. Another reality show, in which people might get their feelings hurt, but little else.
This job really is reality, where real people get killed and maimed. He will ultimately be responsible for millions of lives, and I don’t think he understands. In his tiny mind he can’t take in the enormity of the job he has fallen into. He is using Twitter as if he’s still just a moron with a lack of self-esteem and a crappy reality television series, and not the next President of the United States of America.
Fortunately I think the people who put him there will control his behaviour. But unless he is made to sit in a chair and have his role carefully explained to him, and the consequences of not complying pointed out, he will continue to imagine he is like some mixture of the Lone Ranger and Roy Rogers.
Sadly, he is more like a mixture of Trigger and Silver, but not as smart!

I had recently moved so I was unable to vote in the last election and had no say but I think Trump will surprise us and do a good job. I believe anyone coming into a job for the first time deserves a chance, and I will grant him that. I won’t just sit on the sideline though, I’ll watch and keep as current as possible.
