Dear Dirty America

Glenn Greenwald summed up Hillary Clinton as possible Democratic presidential candidate with the right amount of vitriol and such a lofty perception that it warrants a reprint right here:

Hillary is banal, corrupted, drained of vibrancy and passion. I mean, she’s been around forever, the Clinton circle. She’s a fucking hawk and like a neocon, practically. She’s surrounded by all these sleazy money types who are just corrupting everything everywhere. But she’s going to be the first female president, and women in America are going to be completely invested in her candidacy. Opposition to her is going to be depicted as misogynistic, like opposition to Obama has been depicted as racist. It’s going to be this completely symbolic messaging that’s going to overshadow the fact that she’ll do nothing but continue everything in pursuit of her own power. They’ll probably have a gay person after Hillary who’s just going to do the same thing.

Particularly, what he said about President Obama should be common knowledge, but with a country full of boozy yuppies who still celebrate his election as a ‘win for diversity’ rather than a clever marketing coup by the major banks and Wall Street that put him into office in the first place, the sentiment does not get repeated enough.

While there is racism toward the president (quite a bit of it), those who actually challenge his policies are also met with a wall of cynicism, built on the foundation that anybody who criticizes him has racist tendencies.

This will be the same principles the owners of our country use if they so choose to thrust ailing war hawk, Hillary Clinton, into office. If you don’t like bombing Iraq, putting sanctions on their people and letting half a million children die, and loving the Patriot Act, you must hate women.

Greenwald, who is a proudly gay man, says the same tactic will be used with the first gay president when the time is right. The vast American masses, mostly in a daze from too much TV and processed food ingredients clogging their arteries, will never pick up on this. Rather, their emotions are purposely triggered and no amount of logic will counter that.

It’s the same tactic Israel uses. If you don’t like slowly but surely eliminating the Palestinians and bombing children and crowded areas of slum cities in the West Bank, you must be anti-Semitic.

If you’re confused about the meaning of these words, you are almost undoubtedly an anti-Semantic.

In conclusion, it’s best to start belittling what proves to be a most unsettling series of presidential campaigns for 2016. After all America has been through with the Bush and Clinton families, both of the same mindset, really, despite the way their legacies are packaged, the American public should get nauseous when these fools start raising money to pry themselves into the White House again.

These people, despite their social statures, are psychopaths, and a safer world would have them locked up in high-security mental institutions pushing, with padded broom, the same loose cluster of dust bunnies from one end of the hallway to the other.

Whether it’s Jeb or Hillary, you might as well memorize Greenwald’s repudiation and recite it loud and clear, “You drained, corrupted, banal, sleazeballs!”

And then don’t vote for them. Withdraw all support and money from their campaigns. What if ten percent of normal Democrats and Republicans shunned the system? What about twenty or thirty percent? It’s past time we stopped playing the game.
