In the wake of the Washington Navy Yard shootings, California Senator Dianne Feinstein leveled her eyes at America and asked, “When will enough be enough?” The weathered Democrat said Congress needs to do more in tightening gun laws, as well as banning assault rifles and high-capacity clips.

The Navy Yard massacre is “one more to add to the litany of massacres when a deranged person or grievance killer is able to obtain multiple weapons,” Feinstein said in a statement hours after the shooting.

Other lawmakers have not been as bold in stepping back into the contentious American gun law debate that hit its high mark after multiple tragedies like the Aurora, Colorado and Sandy Hook killings. Questions arose about what kinds of guns, if any, Americans should be allowed to own, for protecting their homes and families, as well as for hunting purposes, or even gun collection hobbyists.

While common Americans bicker all across the nation over the individual’s right to own multiple firearms, as well as military-grade assault weapons, Dianne Feinstein’s body guards are taking no chances in getting caught in an ugly grievance shootout of their own with a disgruntled constituent.

“We’ve been tearing up the shooting range,” said one of the bodyguards of the timeworn California Democrat, “in anticipation of an event. Our client is high-profile and is risking her life by using loaded tragic events to rake political hay, so we’ve got to be more vigilant than ever in protecting the Senator.”

The team of bodyguards, who will remain anonymous, have said the shooting practice has already been paying off. “We’ve quickened our drawing speed, our aim and accuracy in firing a fatal shot, and our poise under threat or pressure.”

Feinstein is not only the target of gun enthusiasts, but is also under threat from Americans who are outraged about the Senator’s initial denial, and then approval of the nation’s surveillance system after NSA leaker Edward Snowden exposed the vast, advanced network used to spy on the emails, phone conversations, text messages, and posts to social media sites of not only Americans, but people and government officials all over the world.

“If it’s liberty and freedom you’re interested in,” the exiled cultural philosopher, Hubert Humdinger is quoted as saying about the battered Democrat, “then Dianne Feinstein is no friend of yours.”
